It was established as a web based organization (nicenepal.com) on 2002 and legally registered  District Administration office in  Kathmandu as a not-for-profit organization on 15 Dec, 2004. It has got affiliation with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal on 29 Dec, 2004.
 

It was also registered in income tax office in Kathmandu, where its PAN no was 301823069.
Its official Bank is 'Bank of Kathmandu'.
Idea Action is located at Putalisadak, a heat of Kathmandu-Nepal and has a country director many of the countries in the world for global Solidarity.
